It’s a Kind of Magic

Roald Dahl wrote in ‘The Minpins’ –

“Those who don’t believe in Magic will never find it”

To which the corollary is that if you do believe in Magic then it will happen.

The song Roger Taylor wrote for Queen and featured in the movie ‘Highlander’ contains these lyrics:

(I’ve left out all the chorus lines)

“One dream, one soul, one prize, one goal
One golden glance of what should be
One shaft of light that shows the way
No mortal man can win this day
The waiting seems eternity
The day will dawn of sanity
This flame that burns inside of me
I’m hearing secret harmonies
The bell that rings inside your mind
Is challenging the doors of time”

So what is this thing called ‘magic’?

Is it real?

Does it exist?

Quite often ‘magic’ is something that you or I do to produce a result that surprises other people.

They have no idea how we did it.

They call it ‘magic’.

So by this reasoning, ‘magic’ does exist, but that’s a generalization.

It goes deeper than that.

Deeper than you or I doing something, causing something to happen, that others don’t understand.

That’s magic on a superficial level.

Let’s go back to Roger Taylor’s words.

To me they explain magic very well, drawing on much of my understanding of fifth dimensional universal realities.

(And if you read last week’s message, you’ll recognise that I’m now entering the realm of pseudoscience – the inexplicable – the “we don’t know how it works so it can’t be happening”)

Dahl says that if you don’t believe in it, you’ll never find it.

You must believe, you must have faith, in what you are doing to make it work.

Because to find magic, to make it work, you do have to do something.

Magic doesn’t just ‘happen’ by itself.

There is a power behind any form of magic.

Spiritual power, universal power, or, if you like, a ‘higher power’.

Some people prefer to use the word ‘miracle’ rather than ‘magic’ but it’s the same principle.

An individual person or soul can call upon universal energy to ‘make something happen’ – to cause something to change.

It happens every day. All over the world energy healers and other practitioners who tap into universal Source to help people are curing (oops, not allowed to use that word) resolving disease, and physical and emotional pain.

They are helping people to change, helping people to discover who they really are and become who they really want to be, helping people to get rid of the blocks and restrictions inherited from the past that are holding them back.

Helping them to escape from the conditioning, manipulation and propaganda they are bombarded with every day.

Helping them to find their ‘way’ through ‘life’.

No-one really knows how this works – but it does work – it’s real magic.

Amazing magic happens in hypnotherapy, especially RTT (Rapid Transformational Therapy) – it does what it says on the tin – it transforms people rapidly, not over several years but in just a few hours.

Magic

We are now seeing different anti-ageing and even age reversal therapies being developed that can reduce biological age in a few months by 10 years or more.

Magic

Meditation, mindfulness and similar techniques, both physical and mental can achieve amazing results enhancing people’s lives in many ways.

Magic

But remember, in all of this ‘work’ has to be done, both by the therapist, coach or trainer, and by the person undergoing it.

It doesn’t just ‘happen’.

Like the lead character in Highlander’ you have to undertake a quest, and you have to throw off outdated beliefs that most people hold to be true.

To find magic you have to be different – you have to do your own thing.

And to do that you have to be a warrior.

A warrior against ‘convention’, against ‘the way we do things round here’, against the ‘establishment’, and most of all against those who believe that power over others, even when they are ‘democratically elected’ (as if there is such a thing) to hold or wield that power, has anything to do with the well-being of anyone other than themselves or their clique.

But that doesn’t mean there has to be any sort of ‘confrontation’.

To be a magical warrior means first and foremost that you must believe in yourself.

You must believe that you are enough.

You must love yourself, having the ability to be independent of others.

You must believe in Magic

Believe that it can be done.

That the world can be changed

One person at a time

Starting with you

“One dream, one soul, one prize, one goal”

“There can be only one”

As Neale Donald Walsch describes in his books ‘Conversations with God’

“There is only one of us”

That’s where the magic comes into play –

If there is only one of us, ‘all of us’ – how does that work?

It’s a kind of Magic.

Become a warrior for magic.

Start by believing that in yourself – believe that you are ‘enough’

And if you don’t quite ‘get’ this start with Marisa Peer’s book ‘I Am Enough’

Follow the instructions and make a start and be that warrior.

Right now!
